Inclusion criteria
Congenital bone marrow failure syndrome is suspected in a pediatric or adult patient.
Initial diagnosis based on the clinical picture.

Material
Minimum 4.9 ml of bone marrow (EDTA) + 2x 4.9 ml of blood (EDTA).
If bone marrow collection is not possible, a minimum of three blood samples should be submitted: two 4.9 ml EDTA blood samples and two 2 ml EDTA blood samples. The optimal amount is approximately 15 ml EDTA blood.

Transport conditions
Transport should take place at ambient temperature (approx. 20 degrees Celsius) within 24 hours of collection.
Samples should be protected from crushing. We accept material on weekdays until 4:00 PM.

Survey
When referring patients with suspected congenital thrombocytopenia syndrome, you should complete a survey that is part of the study ‘Clinical characteristics and molecular background of congenital thrombocytopenia syndromes’.
Consent form
If your center is willing to participate in the study, please complete the consent form and have it signed by the head of the department.
